Vignette Home in progress

Placed figure in front more in the interior, using the holographic keys on the wall to open the window blinds, and the boy jumps on the sofa to watch the passing airbus.

The mystery door opens with sunlight beaming through the crack. They find themselves in a familiar place.

Ciel Vignette

I also really dislike his pose - hoping to make it look less herpaderpy when I actually paint it :P

He looks behind to the sound of thunder, and as the rider passes them, the motorcycle transforms into the toy he's holding in his hand.

Didn't have time to fully render these, hoping to do that for next week.

the village leader and the heroine

These are my two main characters!  The first is the village leader.  As penance for some great sin, he shackled himself with all encompassing bird manacles- that is why he isn't going to go save the world himself.  They are heavy and he cannot do anything with his hands.  The keys hang from the bottom, but he cannot unlock them because, well, his hands are useless. His bird friend takes care of small things for him.  The second is the heroine.  She is not a trained fighter, and at first is not a good fit for her role, but eventually she grows into the part.

Here's some of the stuff I wanted to post. Blogger has been a pain in my ass for the past 30 or 40 minutes and wouldn't let me log in even though both cookies and javascript were enabled, preceded by my scanner throwing a fit. Sorry again. May be 5 minutes late but I will definitely be there.

New Renaissance Main Characters

Detective sort of character for the first, femme-fatal sort of character for the second. The main character is supposed to be a sort of veteran that turned to a detective. The idea is influenced by Snake Pliskin from Escape from New York, Rick Deckard from Blade Runner, Vincent from Collateral, private sector military, and loads of noir characters, and Eric Bana from Munich. The latter is influenced by the bond girls, most of the same female companion characters from the aforementioned films. Mostly the character traits they would possess though fitting an archetype, would resemble the traits from the characters in the film Brick, where their roles weren't quite as obvious.

Props & Inventions

Forgot to upload my objects / props / whatever. I noticed when I was going through my posts that it didn't seem to exist, so I'm uploading it now. Sorry for the lateness. I have here a variety of objects and a couple of buildings I've detailed as they are major locations for food and basic sundry goods. There's also the P2 (Purse Purse), which is literally just a larger purse for more purses to be stored within, slung over the shoulder in some cases but can be constructed in many different ways. There's also the 'carry-it-all', the segway+shopping cart which is a personal vessel constructed shoddily allowing people to gather shit wherever they want and bring it home with minimal effort. I also thought about the Retarded Rabbit character, who appears on a lot of objects and themes in the neighborhood, a dope-smoking hillbilly cartoon rabbit who is supposed to have a sort of Duckman / Simpsons appeal to the inhabitants.

CROSS- Krell + Edits

Yay finished Krell:

Also I reworked these two some, taking the crits from class into consideration.  I decided to change the color schemes, to that the two human gangs would have distinctively different looks.  The Aces are generally red white and blue (heehee) and the Black Stars are black green and yellow. The Helix gangsters are aliens so I don't think they need to be as unified  but they will be all generally warm and earthy.
